First on your itinerary must be a cruise aboard the climate-controlled PATRIOT, a St. Michaels Tradition Since 1969! We help you become familiar with the area as we cruise upon the beautiful Miles River, part of the Chesapeake Bay Estuary which is the largest in the Western Hemisphere. Learn about our local beginnings, view historic homes and wildlife, and watch local watermen harvest clams, oysters and the famous Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab during their respective seasons.

The PATRIOT offers more than the historical scenic cruises for which it is famous. Four daily cruises are scheduled as well as evening charters for a variety of events. Let our captain and crew cater your small intimate affairs with close friends, family reunions, corporate events and more! Relax while you and your guests enjoy beautiful views along the Miles River that change with the seasons.

With a season that runs from March through November, we can host a wide variety of events. The PATRIOT accommodates up to 85 passengers for a sit down dinner, and up to 150 passengers for cocktail parties. The main deck is air-conditioned; the upper deck is open, but can be enclosed in inclement weather.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Our 2008 season will begin March 1st. We will be open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through March 30th. Effective April 1st we will be open daily through November 2008. Our sailing times are always 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Our evening cruises will start later in the summer; check back for dates and times.
