Amenities include free parking, on-board bar and refreshments (cash or credit), indoor air-conditioned spaces, a large, upper outdoor deck, and on-board bathrooms.
Online Ticket purchases
Online ticket pricing reflects the $2.00 discount in the fees shown. If you purchase by 10am on the day you want to cruise, your name will be at our ticket booth and your boarding passes will have been pulled in order of purchase. If you purchase after 10am please be prepared to show paper or phone confirmation of your online purchase. Online sales are not available within one hour of cruise start time
Restrooms
Our restrooms are only available while the boat is operational in open water. Please plan ahead.
No Refund Policy
Once Patriot cruise tickets have been purchased either online or at our ticket booth, we have a “no refund” policy. If we are notified at least two hours before your cruise that you have an emergency, traffic or medical issues, we may allow you to “reschedule” your cruise at a later date/time in the current season. We understand traffic is beyond your control and we are happy to put you on a later cruise that day or the following day. Other unforeseen circumstances may preclude your making your trip to St. Michaels that day/weekend so you can use your tickets later in the season, give your tickets to someone else or donate back to the Patriot and we will give to those less fortunate.
We hold space for all ticketholders until 5 minutes before departure so if we are not notified you won’t be there, we will not offer you the opportunity to reschedule as we may have turned away people who wanted to buy tickets as we have USCG mandated maximum number of passengers.
Dog Policy
We welcome well-behaved small (under 12 lbs) dogs on most cruises. With several recent issues with dogs, we are limiting one dog per trip and the dog must be well behaved, not agressive to other dogs (while waiting to board the boat many dogs walk by) or to other people and be able to sit in your lap. The dog must not bark. Please call ahead to discuss bringing your dog and expect an interview by the Captain prior to boarding.
Wheelchairs and Walkers
Please call the office to discuss the tide (to determine the best timing for cruising on a particular day), the assistance that someone in your party can assist and the type of wheelchair.
The Patriot can accommodate walkers and transport wheelchairs. We can not accommodate scooters or oversized wheelchairs. Due to mother nature, we occasionally have exceedingly high tides that makes our ramp quite steep. You are welcome to call the office prior to buying tickets to be advised on the tides and what trip might be easiest for you to embark and disembark.
Strollers
We welcome babies as long as they bring at least one parent. We have a space on our main deck for you to store your stroller as strollers are not allowed on the top deck.
Boarding
We board in groups of 10 by boarding pass numbers. Those that buy online have their passes pulled first and then purchases at our ticket booth go in order after that. This allows you to enjoy whatever else you are doing in St. Michaels until it is time to board. The Captain normally comes about 10-15 minutes prior to departure and gives a short spiel about the layout of the boat (restrooms, snack bar, upper deck, where to put your stroller, etc) and then begins the boarding process so we ask that you be back 15 minutes prior to departure. You are welcome to pick the seat of your choice once on the boat (we have 70 seats in the shade and 20 in the sun on the upper deck and about 50 seats in the main salon in the climate-controlled area). All must be aboard 5 minutes prior to departure.
Sunblock
Please apply all sunblock before embarkation as the spray-on sunblock eats through our deck paint.
Snack bar
We have a full Snack Bar that serves beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, snacks and hot dogs.
Our passengers are prohibited from bringing food and beverages on board.
Covid-19 Safety Protocol
We are following guidelines set by the State of Maryland and U.S. Government. Masks are no longer required on the Patriot and we are returning to “normal” seating.
